Orbit Asset develops modular data centers. From contract signing to delivery in no more than 12 months.
Orbit Asset / Build · Modular · Fast delivery
Market Background
Equipment can be bought. What cannot be bought is power, construction talent, and a data center with certain delivery. Without a data center, GPUs cannot even be procured.
Leading AI labs have taken a large share of new compute, most of it contracted before it is built, leaving a large shortfall of available data center capacity.
Lead times for transformers and substation equipment run to years, grid connections take years to arrive, and many countries have begun restricting new data centers.
Construction talent with data center experience is scarce. If any of approvals, water supply or power connection falls through, a project is only capacity on paper.
Location
Whether compute can be put to use depends on where it is placed. On power and approvals, equipment access, and connectivity and customers, Japan offers high certainty of deployment.
Clear paths for power receiving and approvals make the construction timeline predictable.
Equipment procurement channels are open.
Dense submarine cable landings, and Tokyo leads in demand.
Solutions
Clear paths for power receiving and approvals shorten the wait before construction.
We use a modular approach already proven in the market, keeping the schedule predictable.

The design fully takes into account the air- and liquid-cooled data center requirements of NVIDIA B300/GB300 series, and includes diesel generators and UPS. Some projects can meet Tier III (T3) requirements. A data center certificate can be issued during construction, so customers can start GPU and network equipment procurement during the build period.
